There is serious infighting in the camp of thugs being sponsored by the Edo State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to cause mayhem in the state, over sharing formula for the largess by Benin billionaire, Captain Hosa Wells Okunbo, as payment for unleashing mayhem on guests, governors and other Very Important Persons (VIPs) on a courtesy visit to the palace of the Oba of Benin.

The thugs were mobilized at the residence of Captain Hosa in Aiguobasinwin Street, GRA, Benin City and deployed to the palace where they barricaded the entrance to the Oba’s palace, harassed the guests and destroyed campaign billboard of the PDP at Kings Square and other strategic locations.

A source close to the APC who spoke on condition of anonymity, said: “There is serious squabble in the APC over the sharing formula for the millions of naira given to thugs today to attack guests of Governor Obaseki at the palace. The rented crowd was gathered at the residence of captain Hosa, who is the paymaster, by Osagie Ize-Iyamu and Comrade Oshiomhole. The assailants thought they would get a fair share of the money since they implemented the attack plans but were surprised that some party leaders are insisting to get a greater share of the money.”
