Daddy Freeze Reacts to Accusations Against Pastor Paul Adefarasin

Controversial media personality, Daddy Freeze, has weighed in on the accusations leveled against Pastor Paul Adefarasin, the founder of House on the Rock Church. The clergyman has come under scrutiny after multiple eyewitnesses accused him of attacking a danfo driver and its passengers following an altercation on the Lekki Phase 1 expressway.

According to reports, the incident occurred after Adefarasin’s G-Wagon SUV was allegedly bashed by the commercial vehicle. Eyewitnesses claim that the pastor jumped down from his car and smashed the windows of the danfo driver, leading to injuries and bleeding among the passengers.

Daddy Freeze took to his Instagram page to share his perspective on the situation. While acknowledging that the pastor’s behavior was not right, he emphasized that the bus driver should not be portrayed as a victim. Freeze questioned whether the danfo driver had indeed bashed the pastor’s car and highlighted the aggressive driving behavior exhibited by some individuals.

He wrote: “In as much as the Pastor did not behave right, why are they making the bus driver look like a victim? Do you see the way those guys drive??? Did he bash the pastor’s car or not? I don’t agree with most of Adefarasin’s doctrines but 90 percent of us in his shoes would have done the same thing. ~FRZ”

The media personality and actor, Uti Nwachukwu, also chimed in on the situation. He expressed the sentiment that pastors are human beings and not gods, emphasizing that everyone has a breaking point. Uti Nwachukwu acknowledged the challenging driving conditions in Lagos and suggested that anyone could be pushed to act out of frustration.

The controversy surrounding the incident has sparked discussions about the behavior of public figures and the expectations placed on them. Both Daddy Freeze and Uti Nwachukwu’s comments reflect the nuanced nature of the situation, acknowledging the pastor’s wrongdoing while also considering the potential provocations faced on the chaotic Lagos roads.
