COVID-19: Ovia North East Local Government Relocate Markets to Nearest Schools around.

…..As Council Boss leads team to monitor compliance on the State Government Directives.

In furtherance of the State Government directives, that Markets in the State be relocated to nearest school field.

The Chairman Ovia North East Local Government, Honourable Scott Ogbemudia today led the Local Government Covid-19 taskforce team to markets in the Local Government Area to ensure total compliance by traders to the State Government directives.

Speaking to journalist, Ogbemudia noted that he had to personally move round to monitor the level of compliance by the traders Stressing that the task of curtailing the spread of the virus is a job for everyone when he Said.

” As you know the State Government have directed that all market be relocated to the nearest school field as part of the measure being take by our amiable Governor to curtail the spread of the Covid-19 Pandemic within the State.

And our duty is to make sure that there is a total compliance by the traders and other person in the local Government, and to do this I have to personally monitor the process because dealing with this pandemic should be everybody business”. He added.
