We have it on good authority that a Personal Assistant to the APC Chairman Comrade Adams Aliu Oshiomhole was in a clandestine meeting last night with the Secretary of the APC Screening Committee at Sheraton Hotel, in a conspiratorial interchange to screen out the Executive Governor of Edo State Mr Godwin Obaseki who is an aspirant, from the Edo 2020 gubernatorial race.

Reason seems to have been thrown out the window as Comrade Adams Oshiomhole’s desperation reaches its peak, all in a bid to ensure his political survival which is already on the brink of collapse. How can one pretend to screen out an aspirant from a race on the ground of a baseless alleged certificate forgery when his Alma mater is within reach and confirmation can be easily requested from his degree awarding institution?

Comrade Adams Oshiomhole’s illegalities knows no bound and like the proverbial character of imprudence, he is taking the vicious paths that even Angels fear to tread. This would be the end of Oshiomhole’s career as we know it if he refuses to subject himself to lawful conducts, exercise restraint from his political recklessness, eschew his obduracy to reason, and descard his culture of illegalities.

We are hereby pre-infoming the good people of Edo State of the tumultuous journey Adams Oshiomhole and his cronies are trying to lead the State on in the midst of a ravaging virus currently constituting a serious threat to the general health and well being of the populace. Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has proven that his political ambition and godfatherism quest give him greater concerns than the health and general well being of Edo Indigenes and residents.

We are hereby calling on the leadership of the APC to prevail on the ensuing conspiracy towards unlawfullness and also using the opportunity to advise the Chairman and members of the APC screening committee not to subject themselves to manipulations as political puppets in the hands of Comrade Adams Oshiomhole as such would leave their had earned reputation on the brink of both social and political dissonance.

Governor Godwin Obaseki has made it clear on all media outlets that his academic credentials are genuine and authentic and anyone in doubt should contact the awarding institution. This is the appropriate path the screening committee should tow as any other illegal path shall be reciprocally resisted by the good people of Edo State.
