Two Years in Office Hon. Scott Reflects on the journey thus far.

The Chairman Ovia North East Local Government Area, Honourable Scott Ogbemudia has Praise the State Governor, His Excellency Governor Godwin Obaseki for providing Visionary Leadership in the State.

The Chairman Made this Known today while feeding questions from Journalist as part of activities to mark his two years in Office, speaking further, Ogbemudia reflect on the encouragement himself and other Young aspiring youths in Politics got from Governor Obaseki, revealing that such encouragement transcend into more youths being elected as Local Government Council Chairman in the 2018 Elections in the State.

” it’s being two year of serving the Good People of Ovia North East and I must tell you it has been
two years of unprecedented experience contributing my quota to the development of the project Nigeria.

I want to first of all thank God Almighty for giving us life in abundant and as well thank the Governor of Edo State his Excellency, Governor Godwin Obaseki for providing youths the Templates to be Elected into political office and contributes our own quota to the development of our dear Country.

The Governor did not only create the template, he also provided the blueprints in which most of us is following in a bid to replicate the development he is effecting at the state level” he added.

Ogbemudia who took time to Read out some of his achievement includes;

Series of sensitization programs and the constituting of community health committee moreso acquired state of the act medical equipments which were disturbed to
four Primary health centres after needed renovation;

Iboro primary health centre

Gelegele primary health centre

Obagie primary health centre

and utekon primary health centre respectively

Also is the enmarked of more communities to get new primary health centres among those that have been built is the newly built

Ekiadolor primary health centre.

Iguosodin N’ ebudin primary health centre which are already serving the good people of Ovia North east.

Other projects includes

The grading of over 80 earth roads across the thirteen wards,

Sinking of bole hole in Azuwa in isiuwa ward and ugbokun 2 in Okada east ward,

Laying of Igo market,

Laying and completing of Utoka market,

Partnering Edojob in training over 1,500 youths in the local government on entrepreneurship.

Providing and energizing of transformer for Okada community.

Procuring of Network booster to communities.

Renovation of the Local Government Education Secretariat.

Training and procuring of working materials for orphan in the Local Government.

Providing of succour for the people of igueosa housing estate,

Building of six block class room in Agokpanor in Okokhuo ward.

Purchasing of Buses for the Local Government line.

*Distribution of over one thousands (1000) schools desks and Chairs to schools in the Local Government Area to mention but few.
